But not only the name was changed from MX - also the construction, sidecuts and sizesplits where improved.
The BMX88 is a true freeride ski with unrivaled power,stability and control to handle every imaginable condition on the mountain.
New: Nose rocker with traditinal camber for full performance.
Waist 88 mm: Provides exceptional performance and
handling no matter what the condition. the running surface gains about
33 % in comparison with a classic on-piste ski.
Ski geometry: the Dual Radius Piste enables agile
turns. the narrower turning radius in the shovel creates progressive
steering characteristics. the tail possesses a bit wider turning radius.
with a different turning radius in the tip and tail, this construction
allows excellent turn variation. Only 57 cm behind the contact point the sidecut merges with the shovel geometry. Precision and performance are realized with the MX88.
Sandwich sidewall construction. Rocker in the shovel. Beech and poplar core with fiber glass. Double Hollowtech.
