The updated Genome is a refinement of the ultra-fat powder ski with full tip and tail rocker and a center section with camber and sidecut.  We startet selling it winter 10-11 and it was a real big success!
It carves like a shorter, stiffer ski on the hardpack, but has incredible float in the deep with progressively softer rockered tips and tails. 
The tips and tails have also been elongated for a shallower angle of attack, leading to an incredibly smooth and effortless ride.  At 141mm under foot and now with a slightly stiffer tail section, the Genome allows a more centered and athletic stance when riding or landing big drops.

Wie besprochen. Hatte diese Woche 2mal Glueck und konnte den Genome auspacken. Das Ding ist einfach zu fahren! Ich hatte am Anfang schon etwas Bedenken, weil ein Ami (Weichteil) und dann die Abmessungen aber er geht sehr gut. Das erste Mal war der Schnee vom Wind verfrachten = runderes Korn und damit schwerer bei ca 20-30cm - ging gut auch wenn es dann verspurt war, was mich wirklich wunderte. Beim zweiten Mal 30-40cm Pow und das ging natuerlich noch besser - viel Float ohne unruhig zu werden wenn es dann spaeter verspurt ist und auch schoen stabil wenn es mal schneller wird. Gutes Brett wirklich und easy zum Drehen. Ciao G...

Hi Holger,
I just got back from my ski trip in the French Alps and I can tell that the Genome really rocks! I've gone through deep, mixed and frosted snow, both on and off-piste and I think I can use them as my unique pair, even if skiing it on piste requires a serious effort and strong condition and of course an iced slope is impossible to deal with (but that was the same with my Gotamas previously). I really wanted to thank you for everthing and hope to meet on the mountain. Ciao Chicco
